On 24th August 2008, on the eve of Gopal Kala, Bharat Punarnirman Dal organized a cultural event of Dahi Handi. The Event took place in Kothrud, Pune. More than 600 members attended the festive event. Normally most of the handi's have a price, but since Bharat Punarnirman Dal is against commercialism of cultural events hence no reward price was kept. Similar events were organized by various Party units all across the county. |
