Second UP State Working Committee Meeting |

The second UP State Working Committee (SWC) Meeting was held on 10th of August 2008, at Ghaziabad. It was presided over by the National President, Mr. Ajit Ashwalayan Shukla. The meeting saw attendance from all UP SWC members, along with some other invited members.
It was decided that sooner the process of identifying, as many candidates as possible, for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections would be initiated by the Party. To expand the organizational structure of the party, it was agreed upon that focus of the Party should be on certain Districts or areas within UP. In this context, the discussion to adopt a strategy for the next Municipal Elections in UP (which are due in 2011), was held during the meeting. Party decided to contest elections for all the wards of the Municipal Bodies in the major 20 districts of UP.
