In a press conference held at Lucknow press Club, The National President of the Party, Ajit Ashwalayan Shukla announced the intention of the Party to contest the upcoming MLC elections. He also announced the names of two candidates supported by the Party in these elections. Dr. S. K Pandey will be contesting for the Lucknow Graduates’ seat. He is currently working as a Professor of English with the Awadh University and is also a part time columnist with the Times of India. Baba Hardev Singh will be contesting for the Banaras Graduates’ constituency. He took a premature retirement from State Civil Services. Known for his unflinching integrity he was also the President of the UP PCS Mahasangh and a life time mentor for the same.
